Wendy’s Wonderful Kids in the Time of COVID19

In a recent article for The New York Times, reporter David Dodge highlighted how the Dave Thomas Foundation is working to find adoptive homes for children in foster care who are facing the COVID-19 crisis without the security and stability of a permanent family. Our Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program, a signature program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, brings children waiting to be adopted from foster care one step closer to safe, loving and permanent homes.

Our three WWK recruiters are always working hard to provide the support needed by the youth on their caseload, whether in trying to find adoptive homes or providing attention and support in their day-to-day living.
