Multi-Dimensional Family Therapy Program 

Through the Suffolk County Community Reinvestment Program (CRP), Hope For Youth strives to teach at-risk youth healthy behaviors to avoid detention, legal involvement and violence, while improving school attendance. Read More

Suffolk County Intensive and Supportive Case Management

Intensive Case Management (ICM) program is an out-patient preventative service that provides children and their families with the support and treatment needed to stabilize a youth’s immediate living situation and prevent the placement of children into foster care, or a higher level of care.  The HFY ICM program has an impressive 75%-80% success rate. Read More

Out-Patient Chemical Dependency Treatment

The Hope for Youth Family Service Center is licensed by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) as an Out-Patient Adolescent Chemical Dependency Program. The target population includes adolescents who are using drugs and alcohol or children who come from family systems which have a history of substance abuse. Read More

Adjustment Services Program

Through participation in this 60-day program, it is anticipated that youth will avoid going in front of a judge, avoid becoming adjudicated as a JD, will not be re-arrested, learn healthy behaviors, and improve school attendance. The youth referred to this program will gain connections to community resources, such as counseling, community service, and parenting programs. Read More

Step Up, Step Out

Hope For Youth wants to ensure that all of our youth have the tools and resources they need in order to be successful. Hope For Youth’s Step up, Step out program helps to ensure youth aging out of foster care are offered mentorships, career preparation, and ongoing support services once leaving the structure of Hope For Youth. The Seven Challenges

In The Seven Challenges, young people address their drug problems, their co-occurring life skill deficits, and their situational and psychological problems. Although counselors in the program provide a structure for groups and a framework for individual sessions, the content of each session is exceptionally flexible, in response to the immediate needs of youth. Through the use of highly trained professionals, students learn goal-setting, responsible decision making, emotion management, effective communication and bonding and relationship skills to lay the groundwork for a drug-free life! Learn more here

HEART

Hope For Youth’s Intensive Preventive Services Program is a home-based, time-limited, family-oriented, supportive and rehabilitative child welfare service, which is provided to children and their family.
