Wendy’s Wonderful Kids

As this month is National Adoption Awareness month, we’d like to share a few words about one of our programs, Wendy’s Wonderful Kids. The Dave Thomas Foundation, through their signature program, Wendy’s Wonderful Kids, supports the hiring of adoption professionals, known as recruiters, who are dedicated to finding permanent families for children in foster care. the children who are most often overlooked. That includes teenagers, children with special needs and siblings. The recruiters use an evidence-based, child-focused recruitment model to find the right family for every child. We have two such recruiters on staff, dedicated and working hard on behalf of the youth they serve. Thank you Colleen and Lyz!
