Tomorrow is the Start of Social Work Month

Did you know that March is Social Work Month? We wish to thank all our HFY social workers for their passion, purpose and heart. Your impact is immeasurable! During Social Work Month, we encourage all of our community members to learn about the many positive contributions of this profession. The theme for 2022 is “The Time is Right for Social Work”. Social workers have been an integral part of our nation for decades. They played key roles in the Civil Rights and Women’s Rights movements and pushed for social programs we now take for granted, including the minimum wage, a 40-hour work week, Social Security and Medicare.
