Thank you Rebuilding Together Long Island!!
Hope For Youth was lucky enough to get in contact with a group called Rebuilding Together Long Island. They have dedicated their time and efforts to help get our Youth Runaway Shelter Program ready. Rebuilding Together Long Island Installed the bathroom vanities, worked on the basement flooring which will be our game room, fixed cracked stairs, as well as painted doors and bedrooms. They provided essentials to complete the job including gloves, masks, and molding. Since 1992 Rebuilding Together Long Island has provided repairs to over 2,300 low-income homeowners at a pace of over 100 projects annually within Nassau and Suffolk. We were lucky enough to be able to work with this amazing group.
Rebuilding together Long Island’s mission is to preserve and revitalize houses and communities, assuring that low-income homeowners who are either elderly, veterans, disabled and families with children live in comfort and safety while maintaining their independence.
