One Island Giving Day

One Island Giving Day is on October 26th! The goal of this initiative is to raise $500,000 for LI-based nonprofits, to help create a stronger Long Island for ALL Long Islanders. Now in its second year, the initiative raised $331,000 in 2017 benefiting more than 100 nonprofits. The additional funding received, contributed to the delivering of critical programming and services. Hope For Youth is participating this year in One Island Giving Day for the first time. Funds that Hope For Youth receives will directly benefit our STEM Saturdays program. This weekend program is designed to stimulate curiosity, resulting in enhanced learning and student engagement.
