Hope For Youth

HFY Announces Appointment of New Board Member

We are excited to share that Elizabeth Sy has joined Hope For Youth’s Board of Directors.

Elizabeth Sy became involved with Hope For Youth in 2018 as a volunteer and a member of the Young Professionals Committee. Elizabeth is passionate about child welfare and development and looks forward to the opportunity to contribute as a member of the Board.

Elizabeth is an Associate at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C., where she is a member of the firm’s litigation department. Her practice focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation, including matters involving franchisor/franchisee disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, unfair business practices, trademark and copyright infringement, real estate disputes, breach of contract, and Article 78 proceedings. A portion of Elizabeth’s practice also involves insurance-related matters, with an emphasis on defending professional liability claims against attorneys.

Elizabeth received her Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2017, graduating Summa Cum Laude. While in attendance at Touro, Elizabeth served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Touro Law Review.

Welcome, Elizabeth. We look forward to your insight and contributions as our newest board member!
