Hope For Youth offers several programs within the Diagnostic and Emergency Residential Programs, including:

 

Runaway & Homeless Youth Shelter
The Shelter provides a safe, inclusive and secure environment for all Suffolk County youth 17 years of age and younger who find themselves in crisis and need a haven. The program provides support services to all residents 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year for up to 60 days.  Read More

 

Adolescent Diagnostic & Respite Group Home

Hope For Youth provides Diagnostic, Emergency, and Respite residential services for children and youth for the purposes of stabilization, evaluation, and overall treatment planning to aid in successful growth and healthy living.  Read More

 

Therapeutic Group Homes

HFY works as a team with NYS Office of Children & Family Services (OCFS) and both Suffolk and Nassau Counties’ Departments of Social Services and Probation to provide residential services. Together with the youth’s extended support network, HFY strives to ensure a resident’s short-term needs are met and long-term needs are planned for.  Read More

 

Non-Secure Detention

The Hope For Youth Non-Secure Detention (NSD) Center is licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services and provides temporary short-term services in a stabilizing, supportive, and therapeutic setting for JD and PINS youth pursuant to Articles Three and Seven of the New York State Family Court Act. Hope For Youth provides an environment that improves the functioning of youth in crisis and promotes healthier, law-abiding lifestyles.  Read More

 

Step Up, Step Out

Hope For Youth wants to ensure that all of our youth have the tools and resources they need to be successful. Hope For Youth’s Step Up, Step Out program helps to ensure youth aging out of foster care are offered mentorships, career preparation, and ongoing support services once leaving the structure of Hope For Youth.
