Diagnostic & Emergency Residential Programs

Hope For Youth offers several programs within the Diagnostic and Emergency Residential Programs including:

  • Family Ties - Hope for Youth’s Family Ties Sibling Diagnostic and Emergency Group Home Program meets the needs of allegedly abused or neglected children, primarily following their removal from home by Child Protective Services (CPS). This program decreases the number of large sibling groups that require separation at the time of placement and the length of stay in care.

  • Non-Secure Detention - The Hope For Youth Non-Secure Detention (NSD) Center is licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services and provides temporary short-term services in a stabilizing, supportive, and therapeutic setting for JD and PINS youth pursuant to Articles Three and Seven of the New York State Family Court Act. Hope For Youth provides an environment that improves the functioning of youth in crisis and promotes healthier, law-abiding lifestyles.

  • Diagnostic and Emergency Group Home - Hope For Youth provides Diagnostic, Emergency, and Respite residential services for children and youth for the purposes of stabilization, evaluation and overall treatment planning to aid in successful growth and healthy living.
